IMPACT trailers are a step above the price point models that other companies advertise. Here’s what makes them different from other trailers in the market:
No matter what your building you always start from the foundation and build up, which is why all of our Impact trailers come standard with 16” OC floor, walls and roof cross members. This is by far the most stout construction you will find on a cargo trailer this size, which is why these trailers will take more abuse and last longer than our competition who use 24” OC spacing all around. Make sure your comparing apples to apples when comparing trailer specs, because the frame structure is the most important part of the construction/longevity of a trailer.
All Impact trailers use tube wall posts and tube roof bows for additional strength, not flimsier (Z posts or Hat posts) that the traditional industry uses when building a trailer.
ST205/75R15 Radial Tires standard with upgraded aluminum wheels and chrome center caps standard – These wheels really set apart these trailers from every other trailer on the road and make you really appreciate your trailer purchase.
Interior trim may not be the first thing that comes to mind when looking at a trailer, but this is certainly the first thing we hear from most costumers that the interior trim has either fallen off on the way home or is warped due to it only being 3/16” luan trim that is being held on to the wall by only a few staples. For this reason, all Impact trailers use 3/8” batten trim that is (screwed) to the wall posts, not stapled, so you wont have to worry about the trim coming off the wall, as well it provides a solid structure and looks nicer cosmetically.
Dexter Axles are the most popular brand of axles in the trailer industry, they do certainly cost more money, but there’s a reason why you pay more for this brand of axle and that’s because of there durability and 5 year warranty on spring axles and 10 year on torsion’s.
Our Dexter 3500 lb. Spring Axles also come with NEV-R-ADJUST Brakes ( on ALL models with electric brakes) This option will benefit the consumer over the standard electric brakes, because the NEV-R-ADJUST brakes are self adjusting ( same as a vehicle ) where the standard trailer brakes are not, which means they wont last as long and you will need to have to pay to replace them much sooner than if you would have with the NEV-R-ADJUST brakes. ( less maintenance and a longer life span is ALWAYS a plus )
Our RV style radius door with an interior trim ring to provide a cleaner overall appearance is by far one of the biggest features customers notice when there looking at our trailers on our lot. Not only is the RV flush lock door a nice feature to have since there’s a built in lock with a dead bolt to not have to worry about, but it’s also nice to be able to get in/out of the trailer by having a handle to open and close the door rather than a bar lock that can’t be opened from the inside.
.030 Screwless Exterior Aluminum panels for a cleaner exterior appearance and overall less maintenance with not having to worry about screws rusting or popping off.
Brite Anodized Rear Exterior Hoop to dress up the trailer and protect the back frame from rusting.
One-Piece Aluminum Roof, not seamed like some of the cheaper cargo trailers do to cut costs.
3” Top Trim / 1.5” Bottom Trim – thicker trim looks nicer and helps eliminate from buckling.
ATP Diamond plated Fenders for an overall stronger fender and sharp appearance.
24” ATP Slanted Stone Guard – not 12”-16” High like other companies do to save on cost. We also use this diamond plated ATP trim on the wedge nose from top to bottom for cosmetic appeal and protection from stone damage.
Plastic Flo-Thru Vents (Pair) are standard as well as a framed in roof vent, which allows you to add a roof vent/Air conditioner down the road if needed.
3/4” Drymax Floor and 3/8” Drymax Walls – GP Drymax wood is moisture resistant, which means it will not swell up and warp like many other floors do in the trailer industry. This product is manufactured here in Ontario from hardwoods with MDI resin, which makes this wood not only denser than plywood, but it also will last longer and be able to with stand our harsh Canadian climates.
Ramp Door with 12” Ramp Extensions standard – no extra charge for ramp door like most companies – Ramp or barn doors are the same price
Aluminum Door Holdback on Side Door – not cheaper plastic that always get busted or brake off
LED Bullet Style Marker Lights with Life time warranty – there’s very few companies that offer a life time warranty any more, especially on lights.
(2) 12V LED Dome Light with Switch inside the trailer compared to only 1 light with no switch like other trailers
LED loading light at rear ramp door for better visibility when loading at night – other companies charge extra for this option
Structural front and rear tube cross member design to provide stronger bumpers than the competition – if you crawl under 95% of trailers and try to wiggle the rear bumper, you will always get movement due to the the structure being a flimsy channel, not a solid tube cross member. Like we talked about above, you start from the foundation and build up on any structure you build and a weak foundation will end being a weak trailer that you will constantly be putting money into down the road with structural issues.
( Please make sure you remember these points, every sales person is going to tell you about how good there product is, but remember to start from the frame/foundation to make sure your getting the best bang for your buck. )
3-Year Limited Structural Warranty + 5 yr on the axles + Life time on the LED lights
