Action Sales Limited Warranty Procedures

If you experience a problem with your trailer, please follow the following procedure:

  1. 1) Have your Invoice number and Name on invoice ready. Have your Vin Number ready. If it is axle or brake related issues, please have ser. # on axle ready (white sticker on top of axle.).
  2. 2) Call Action Sales and report the problem. Action Sales will report the problem to the Manufacturer and determine if the issue is a "Warranty Issue". This can also be clarified by reading your Warranty information that came with your trailer.
  3. 3) If the issue is a Warranty Related Issue, you will be required to bring the trailer to our shop for repair.
  4. 4) Warranty work can also be completed by qualified technicians. To complete work at another location the following must be done:
    1. 1) Complete steps 1 and 2 above.
    2. 2) Take photos of the problem (if applicable)
    3. 3) Have the qualified technician call our service department with their estimate (Note: we authorize $ 55 per hour max. service rate)
    4. 4) At this point warranty authorization to complete work will be given.

Things excluded from warranty

  • Trailer rental
  • Damage caused by improper hookup
  • Defacing: scratches, dents, chips etc.
  • Damage caused from not doing routine maintenance
  • Damage caused to the contents regardless the cause
  • Damage caused by overloading past the specified payload

Routine Maintenance

  1. 1) Check lug nut tightness: 90 to 100 ft/lbs on aluminum wheels, 110 to 120 ft/lbs on steel wheels
  2. 2) Grease bearings: approx. every 5000 to 7000 kms.
  3. 3) Grease or lube tongue coupler
  4. 4) Check tire pressure: specific for your tires (located on tire)
  5. 5) Grease or lube hinges
  6. 6) Check coupler nut for tightness (if applicable)
  7. 7) Check brakes are functioning properly (if applicable)
  8. 8) Check battery for a good charge (if applicable)
  9. 9) Check safety chains for any damage (replace if required)
  10. 10) Undercoat frame & tongue on a yearly basis (steel frame models)
